Two sheets with 6 cards each, suggested to belong together, from late 15th or early 16th century; the Edmond de Rothschild Collection in the Louvre has Tower, Star, Moon, Devil, Chariot and Death, the Bibliothèque de l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux arts has Sun, World, Hanging Man, Wheel, Angel and Hermit - a short description is at Kaplan, Encyclopedia I, p. 128 and Michael Dummett, "Il Mondo et il Angelo", p. 222, and and Andrea Vitali, "il Tarocchino di Bologna", p. 24, and p. 30-31; Andrea Vitali gives other later decks of Bologna, which by iconographical comparison argument Bologna as the location of the production.
