"Stuttgarter Hofjagdspiel" ( Germany)
1427 - 1431 (date evaluated according paper analysis), held as the "oldest extant European playing card deck"
The deck was earlier in the possession of the dukes of Bavaria. The Suits are ducks and falcons, hounds and stags (probable idea: Falcons hunt ducks, hounds hunt stags). Size: 19.0 x 12.0 cm, 52 cards.
