The painter is assumed to have been master Albert of Florence. The castle belonged to Beatrice of Naples (daughter of Ferrante), who married Matthias Corvinus of Hungary and brought Renaissance arts and culture to Budapest (information from Mary Greer), the pictures are estimated to 1490. |
